In desperate need to rehome our kitty for the well being of a child.

I hate to do this, we really don't want to get rid of our cat but she's became a health hazard to the children.

This is NESSIE, a very fluffy tortie that sheds like the Dickens, she's very sweet. quite timid. doesn't like to be held but loves pets. She's good with kids and other pets. Very vocal. A Lazer is her favorite toy. Will only eat hard food, refuses 99% of treats and wet food.

She's approximately 7 years old.

The reason we need to rehome her is, We have a baby that is suffering from breathing difficulties after a recent illness, doctors have suggested we need to get rid of the cat for the babies well being as it's been a month of non stop meds and doctors visits.

The bad thing is that nessie has a behavioral issue that she pees all over the place, we've tried so many things to stop it and nothing has worked, we've had her for 5 years. We've managed to get her to to pee on cardboard next to the litter box most of the time but she still occasionally goes in other areas of the house. Bowel movements are done in the Litter box. Unfortunately her favorite place to go is under items and on carpet if she can, we no longer have carpet anywhere.

Again we really would love to keep her but unfortunately we can not.

She's fixed and up to date on her shots.

This is my daughters cat I'm trying to help her and my grandbabies.

Edit: the first two years we tried everything the vets suggested and then some. I doubt it's anything y'all would suggest. We even moved and the house we bought we cleaned literally top to bottom to get any residual animal smell out of it and that

didn't work.
